About

I’m a New York State licensed mental health counselor with over 20 years of experience helping people through a wide range of challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in diverse settings—from inpatient hospitals to outpatient clinics, as well as crisis intervention teams. This breadth of experience has given me a well-rounded understanding of the complex issues people face, including anxiety, depression, addiction, and the difficulties that come with managing more than one concern at a time.

Helping others isn’t just my profession; it’s something I’m genuinely passionate about. I know what it’s like to go through hard times, not just from the clinical side but personally, too. That lived experience shapes the way I show up: with compassion, authenticity, and zero judgment.

My approach is rooted in a person-centered philosophy, which means I believe the best therapy happens when you feel truly heard, respected, and valued for who you are. I meet people exactly where they are—no matter what they’re dealing with or where they are in their journey. There’s no rush or pressure, just a genuine partnership to help you move toward a life that feels more fulfilling and in line with your values.

I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, or even scary, and I’m here to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, helping you build the skills and resilience to handle life’s ups and downs with greater confidence and clarity.

Let’s figure it out—together.
